House Building Modifications
-
All proposed modifications/alterations to the home/building are to be submitted to The Design Review Board for approval prior to carrying out any works or applying for any consents from Councils, etc.
-
Any proposed modifications/alterations are to be designed in such a way that they suit the style of building and development and, when finished, they appear as if the alteration had always been part of the building.
-
Interior alterations are generally acceptable provided that the intent of the home/building is maintained and the alterations do not significantly affect the exterior appearance of the home/building or affect the structure of the property.
-
In the case of Apartment residences, the permission of the Body Corporate must be sought and granted.
-
It is the owners' responsibility to meet the requirements of the Auckland Council and the New Zealand Building Code. This includes obtaining all necessary consents as may be required.
